May 2020. We published a review on how sex differences in immune aging relate to COVID-19 disease severity and lethality at Immunity and Ageing

September 2018. Shubham's work that describes chromatin accessibility QTLs in human islets and their relevance to T2D genetics is published at Diabetes. Congrats Shubham!  

August 2018. We received a grant from Department of Defense (DOD) to study how cellular responses shape epigenomes and transcriptomes of human islets. An exciting collaboration with the Stitzel Lab!

April 2018. Our lab is among the 85 teams to receive funding from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to participate in the Human Cell Atlas project!  Read more about our project here.

April 2018. Asa successfully defended his PhD thesis and joined our lab as a postdoctoral scholar. Congrats Asa!

November 2017. Dr. Ucar presented our work on immune system aging at the 10th Annual RECOMB/ISCB Conference on Regulatory & Systems Genomics in New York.
